Elementary
At Grace Christian School, our elementary curriculum is designed to build a strong academic foundation while nurturing each student's spiritual growth and love of learning. Every subject is taught through a biblical worldview, helping students see God's hand not only in Scripture, but in history, creation, language, and the arts. The following descriptions outline the core classes offered at the elementary level and the goals behind each area of study.
Descriptions of Our Core Elementary Classes

- Social Studies — Students explore God's hand throughout human history, develop a love for our country, and gain an appreciation for God's providence in the founding of the United States.
- Language Arts — Students cultivate strong writing skills that equip them to express their thoughts clearly, thoughtfully, and articulately.
- Science — Students discover the beauty and mathematical order of God's creation, developing an appreciation for the intricate design woven throughout creation, from the smallest cell to the vastness of the galaxies.
- Art — As a complement to the core academic curriculum, students are introduced to the fundamentals of art as they discover and develop their God-given artistic abilities.
- Music Theory — As a complement to the core academic curriculum, students in grades 3–6 learn the fundamentals of reading and playing music, laying the groundwork for future keyboard, instrumental, and vocal performance.
